Effectiveness of local hemostatic agents following dental extraction: A systematic review

Anticoagulant drugs are involved in the prevention and management of cardiac valve disease, cardiac arrhythmia, prosthetic heart valve, pulmonary embolus, and cerebrovascular accident.[1] Patients who receive oral anticoagulant therapy (OAT), dental extractions is a common procedure.
